Privacy Notice

This notice explains how Streamverse Ltd collects and uses the personal data of people at wedding venues, vineyards and hotels we contact about our website-design service, and of wedding photographers and other wedding suppliers we contact about working together. We reached you (or plan to) using business contact details published on your own or your organisation's website, on a public register, or on a venue's published list of recommended suppliers — we did not get them from you directly. Because of that, UK data protection law (UK GDPR Article 14) requires us to give you the information below.

1. Who we are

Streamverse Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 16374315) with its registered office at 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom, is the data controller responsible for your personal data. You can reach us at info@streamverseai.com about anything in this notice. Website: streamverseai.com. ICO data-protection registration: ZC205171.

2. What personal data we hold

• Your name;
• your work / professional email address (for example weddings@yourvenue.co.uk, or a named work address such as jane@yourvenue.co.uk);
• your job role;
• business information about your venue — its name, website, location, capacity, public Google rating, and the names of suppliers or photographers your venue publicly recommends;
• if you are a photographer or other wedding supplier: your business website, the professional social-media handle you publish as a way of being contacted (for several photographers on our list that is the only route published), the town or county you trade from, and a note of which venues your own portfolio — or a venue's public supplier list — shows you have worked at; and
• if you book an introductory call with us, the booking details you enter — your name, the email address you book with, your venue's website address, and the date and time you chose — together with technical data the booking service records, such as your IP address.

We do not hold any special-category data (such as health, ethnicity or political views), financial data, or private or home addresses. We do not hold personal social-media accounts — only a professional account where a business publishes it as a way of being contacted.

3. Where we got your data

From public, professional sources only: your own or your organisation's public website, county council approved-ceremony-premises registers, the published supplier or “recommended photographer” lists on venue websites, and — for photographers and suppliers — your public professional profile where that is the contact route you publish. We did not buy it from a list broker and we did not collect any private or non-published contact details. Where a personal (rather than business) address was found on a site, we deliberately excluded it.

There is one exception. If you book an introductory call with us, you give us those booking details directly, at the moment you book them.

4. Why we use it, and our lawful basis

We use your data to tell carefully selected, relevant venues about our website service and to offer a short introductory call.

If you are a photographer or supplier, we use it for a different purpose: to ask whether you would like to work with us — introducing us to venues you already photograph, having your work credited on any site we build for them, and being paid a fee when an introduction leads to a commission.

For both, our lawful basis is legitimate interests (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(f)) — our interest in growing a business through relevant business-to-business direct marketing. We have weighed this against your rights and freedoms in a Legitimate Interests Assessment, which assesses the two channels separately, which we keep on file and will share on request. Because we contact a business address, in a professional context, with a relevant message you can decline in one word, we consider this a proportionate use of your data.

5. Marketing email and your control over it

Every marketing email we send identifies us truthfully and offers a one-step opt-out (reply “no thanks”). You can tell us to stop at any time and we will do so immediately and permanently. To honour that, we keep a suppression list containing only your email address and the date you opted out — nothing else — so that we never contact you again.

6. Who we share it with

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data, and we do not feed it into third-party marketing platforms.

We use one service provider that handles personal data on our behalf and strictly on our instructions (a “processor”): Cal.com, Inc., 2261 Market Street #4382, San Francisco, CA 94114, United States, which runs the booking page where you can schedule an introductory call with us. If you book a call, Cal.com processes your name, your email address and your answers to the booking questions in order to create the appointment and send you a confirmation. It is contractually bound to use that data only to provide the scheduling service, and for nothing else. Cal.com in turn uses a small number of its own service providers, bound by equivalent obligations; it publishes the current list at cal.com/privacy.

If you never book a call, Cal.com never receives your data. Everything else stays in our own systems, and we share it with no one.

7. International transfers

Our own records are held in the United Kingdom.

The booking service in section 6 is run by Cal.com, Inc., a United States company. We use its European service, cal.eu, which states that all data held on it is stored and processed within EU borders. UK law recognises the EU as offering a standard of protection equivalent to our own.

We have signed Cal.com's Data Processing Agreement, under which Cal.com commits to keep that data inside the EU or EEA and — where its staff outside the EU or EEA need remote access for technical support, security, incident response or service continuity — to rely on an approved transfer mechanism, the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses together with the applicable UK addendum. We signed that agreement on 22 July 2026 and Cal.com has not yet countersigned it, so those commitments are agreed but not yet in force. We will update this notice once it is.

If you would rather not use the booking page at all, email us at info@streamverseai.com and we will arrange a time by reply. Nothing about your enquiry then leaves the UK.

8. How long we keep it

• If you are a prospect we haven't heard back from, we delete your contact data at the end of the current outreach cycle (by 31 January 2027) unless we are in an active conversation with you.
• If you opt out, we keep only your email address and opt-out date, indefinitely — this is the only way to guarantee we never contact you again.
• If you book an introductory call, we keep the booking record while we are in conversation with you, and delete it at the end of the current outreach cycle (by 31 January 2027) if nothing comes of it.
• If you become a client, your details move into our client records under a different lawful basis (contract).

9. Automated decision-making

We do not make any automated decisions about you that produce legal or similarly significant effects. Any prioritisation of who to contact is an internal aid only; a person decides every message that is sent.

10. Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

• be told what personal data we hold about you (right of access);
• have it corrected (rectification) or deleted (erasure);
• restrict or object to our use of it; and
• object to direct marketing at any time — which we always honour, immediately and absolutely.

11. How to complain

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your personal data, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK supervisory authority, at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

We may update this notice from time to time; the current version and its date are always shown at the top of this page.
